What Realoscope is
Realoscope by BCubed is a real-estate deal screening and education tool. This policy describes what information the public Realoscope site and app handle, and how.
Information you give us
- Waitlist form: name, email, role, and optional interests you submit. Used to contact you about Realoscope; joining is non-binding.
- Account (optional): email address and a password, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase). We never see your password in plain text.
- Workspace data (optional): buy boxes, deal facts you enter or import, screening results, and related notes you save to a cloud workspace.
Local preview mode
Without an account, everything you enter stays in your own browser (localStorage) on your device. It is not transmitted to us. Clearing your browser storage deletes it.
Cloud workspaces
With a free account, buy boxes and screened deals you save are stored in a private workspace in our database (Supabase), protected by row-level security so only you and members you invite can read them. Realoscope staff do not browse workspace contents in the normal course of operations. You can export your data as JSON from the app at any time.
Opportunity Inbox and imported data
Opportunity Inbox data you add manually or import by CSV is stored in your browser; deals you screen and save follow the workspace rules above. You are responsible for having the right to use data you import. Source URLs from restricted listing platforms are stored as link-only references. Realoscope does not fetch, copy, or scrape their content.
No training on your private data
We do not use your uploaded or workspace deal data to train global AI models, and we do not share your workspace data with other users or workspaces. If live AI features launch, they will process only the structured facts needed to answer your request, server-side, and this policy will be updated first.
Third-party data and services
- Hosting and forms: the site is served by Netlify; waitlist submissions are processed by Netlify Forms.
- Authentication and database: Supabase (when you create an account).
- Market data: on your explicit click, the app can fetch open data (FRED® rate context; U.S. Census/ACS demographics) via our server. These requests carry the geography you typed, not your identity.
What we don't do
- No advertising trackers or ad networks on this site.
- No sale of your personal information.
- No background data collection - live data is fetched only when you ask.
- No scraping of restricted listing platforms, and no storing of their content.
Retention and deletion
Local preview data lives only in your browser. Cloud workspace data is kept until you delete it or ask us to delete your account. To request deletion, use the contact form on the home page from the email tied to your account.
Children
Realoscope is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We will update this page as the product and its legal review progress; the date above reflects the latest revision.
